An homage to one of my favorite nature artists — Herman De Vries — this series was created for a Holistic Health Clinic specializing in Chinese Medicine. The series was created by rubbing the Chinese herbal granulars used in the clinic for treatments onto water color paper allowing their pigments to create soft colors field. Each piece is a quiet reflection on nature’s beauty and power. Healing is not only a science, but also an art form.
