Aerial Garden
Dried flower petals, filament wire
The spiraling mass of delicate plant matter speaks to both creation and destruction — the cyclical forces that govern all life. As visitors move through this suspended garden, their breath and movement cause the petals to shift and sway, making them part of the whirlwind themselves and creating new patterns with each passing moment. The whirlwind becomes a meditation on transformation, impermanence, and our place within nature's constant dance of growth and decay, honoring the transformative wisdom of the sacred feminine. Here we remember our place within the great spiral of existence. The installation then becomes an invitation to pause within the storm and find peace in impermanence.
