My Ethos

Our bodies hold the residue of all we've experienced. When life delivers moments too overwhelming to process — traumas both seen and unseen — something tender happens within us. Rather than flowing through like water over stone, these experiences sometimes lodge within our tissues, becoming frozen fragments of energy with nowhere to go. When we cannot speak our truth, when tears remain unshed or screams unvoiced, this unmetabolized energy begins a quiet rebellion. The nervous system, designed to flow between activation and rest, becomes trapped in patterns of alarm, transforming temporary protection into chronic symptoms. This isn't failure or weakness — it's the body's profound devotion to keeping us safe when safety once seemed impossible.

Illness arrives as an invitation inward, calling us to recognize that true healing begins not with external solutions but with awakening to our own innate power. The truth is there is nothing wrong with you. Your symptoms — real and valid as they are — serve as sacred messengers begging to be heard, offering a roadmap to restoration. True healing unfolds when we choose to turn toward our suffering with acceptance rather than resistance, inviting it in and acknowledging that this too belongs. As we learn to build our capacity to be with our full experience — sensations and emotions alike — from a place of wholeness, something miraculous begins to occur. The pain, fatigue, brain fog, anxiety, and depression that once seemed insurmountable slowly begins to unwind in the nervous system, creating space for us to step back into life with renewed vitality.

My Approach

The journey toward healing asks us to befriend our nervous systems through somatic practices where we learn to witness sensations rising and falling like tides within us. We allow our bodies to complete responses long held in suspension, while meditation creates the compassionate container where we can witness our experience without drowning in it. This healing isn't about forcing change but about creating conditions where transformation can naturally unfold— when breath deepens, shoulders soften, and the heart steadies its rhythm. My commitment to you is to hold this same compassionate container that allows you to show up exactly as you are and support you to feel all that arises. I will not try to fix or diminish your pain, but will sit with you in it and help you cultivate the capacity to feel it fully. In this sacred space of trust, we glimpse what has always been true: that safety lives within us and that our bodies know the way toward wholeness.

The weekend will be balanced between tending to our physical bodies via acupuncture, movement and massage as well as our inner world, through coaching sessions, meditations, and exercises to connect with your deepest knowing.
